Liz Moncrief is a regular contributor to Handwoven Magazine and twice winner of the prestigious Complex Weaver Award, and is our Handwoven Scarf Kit designer. This London design is simple, but has an intriguing textural twist that makes it unique and distinctive. The Sanjo yarns used for this kit include our 2 20/2 Bombyx Silks - 10-007, an even spun 20/2, and 10-006, an Uneven Spun 20/2 with a gently unusual texture. You'll love the small grids of short raised floats that punctuate the scarf along its length. Each kit provides enough yarn to make 2 scarves plus one cowl; the length of your scarves is determined by the fringe finish you choose. A twisted fringe will net a shorter woven scarf; the hemstitched option has a longer handwoven part.
