We're very excited to have collaborated with Liz Moncrief, a regular contributor to Handwoven Magazine and twice winner of the prestigious Complex Weaver Award. Liz has created this kit using our beloved 20/2 Uneven Spun Bombyx Silk. The scarves look more complicated than they are, with 7 variations on the central detailing - a change in treadling results in a different pattern! We've offering it in 5 colourways, one to suit every taste. The Uneven Spin on the yarn gives the finished scarf a slight hombre look, a very subtle textural appearance. Each kit provides enough yarn to make 2 scarves; the length of your scarves is determined by the fringe finish you choose. A twisted fringe will net a shorter woven scarf; the hemstitched option has a longer handwoven part.
