It's been a while since we've had sari silk yarn. We're very discerning, and we don't source just any old sari silk yarn. This one is very special. It consists of strips of sari silk that have been stitched using a zig-zag pattern. The stitching introduces an intriguing texture that resembles fat, squishy ric-rac. Add even more texture by removing this stitching in parts of your work. The skeins are multi-coloured and vary from one to the next. As a knitted yarn it produces a slightly heavy, firm fabric. Consider using it for baskets. How about combining it with other textural yarns, like Tussah Dreadlocks (either Regular or Fine)?
