Debbie Held's fabulous workshop, Carding Wild Silks: Rolags, Punis & Puni-Rolags, is sold out, so we've added a 2nd workshop on Sunday May 31.
A full description, and registration is on Sweet Georgia's website. Click "Sunday" and "Carding Wild Silk", and add to cart.

  • This workshop includes 350 g of various silks, including: Tussah, Red Eri, Peduncle, Tassar, Organic Noil, Muga, plus mohair, super fine alpaca, and fine wool for blending. All silks supplied by Sanjo Silk are sourced directly from India and China.
  • You will need fine hand cards with 96 TPI or higher (72 TPI will work, too), scissors, paper and pencil, and spinning tool of your choice: spindle, wheel, or e-Spinner.
  • This three-and-a-half-hour workshop will focus on carding and blending silks with wool and luxury (alpaca and mohair) into rolags, punis, and puni-rolags for homogeneity and texture in your spinning.
The fee includes all the materials you'll be using in the workshop.  Sanjo Silk will be offering a coupon to use in their shop for all who attend this workshop. Signed copies of Debbie’s book, The Spinner’s Blending Board Bible, will also be available for purchase.
