Our Swiss supplier has been providing us with the best quality silks in the world for several decades now. Bombyx 20/2 is a staple in our range, and now we're offering the same lovely weight in Tussah silk. It has a tiny bit more loft and tooth than the Bombyx variety. Consider mixing the 20/2 Bombyx and Tussah in a warp for shade and texture variation. Also, when you dye the Bombyx and Tussah together, you'll get slight variations in colour - the Tussah will be slightly warmer due to the light golden undertone, and it will be a bit less intense. Again, consider using them together for these slight variations.
